Description | First the "debate." If you happened to be a normal person tuning in for the first time to look for a credible alternative to George W. Bush, you were probably aghast...
The election returns that rolled in as the debate was ending were even more demoralizing... And, in any case, who can seriously argue that Kentucky and Mississippi races weren't the day's two biggest prizes?
...Why is this McAuliffe's fault? Because it's time for someone to give Sharpton, Kucinich, and Mosley-Braun the hook, and it's McAuliffe's responsibility to do that.
...Still, as bad as McAuliffe's efforts to bring discipline to the nominating season have been, his electoral record is even worse. |
