Description | Could a Trinity County Supervisor unseat Rep. Wally Herger?
Jeff Morris certainly hopes so. With November seeming to favor Democrats, the Weaverville businessman is hoping a platform of economic support for rural communities, local control over water and an emphasis on sustainability will be enough to beat Herger, who will soon have served 22 years representing District 2 in the House of Representatives.
Morris, wearing his trademark blue plaid shirt, turned no question down Monday night when he held an informal question-and-answer session at the Red Bluff Community Center in an event sponsored by Tehama County for Obama and the Tehama Democratic Central Committee. |
