Description | The incoming president of Botswana, Ian Khama, is a man born to rule, both as the son of the country's founding father and as the head of its largest tribe, the Bangwato.
Khama (55) will be inaugurated as the diamond-rich nation's fourth president today in a ceremony when Festus Mogae retires in order to allow his successor time to make an impression before elections next year. |
