Description | Rep. Al Wynn (D-Md.), who lost the Democratic primary to challenger Donna Edwards, is leaving the House in June to join a law firm, according to Democratic aides. Wynn will be making an official announcement today.
Wynn was first elected to the House in 1992, and he served on the powerful Energy and Commerce Committee. The 56-year-old Wynn served in the Maryland House of Delegates and state Senate for a decade before coming to Capitol Hill. |
