| Description | Standing in the sunlight streaming through the Statehouse's glass ceiling Monday, Hoosiers celebrated the shattering of a political glass ceiling as Kathy Davis became Indiana's first female lieutenant governor.
Davis, 47, took the oath of office at 12:20 p.m. in the Statehouse atrium. She joins a line of 48 men who have held Indiana's second highest office.
