| Description | JAMESTOWN, N.C. (WGHP) – Republican and seven-term Charlotte Pat McCrory will formally announce his candidacy for Governor Tuesday in his hometown of Jamestown.
The announcement is set for noon at the Jamestown Library at 200 West Main Street, at the Ragsdale High School intersection The building once housed Jamestown Elementary School, where McCrory attended.
Last week, McCrory has filed paperwork in Raleigh to create the "Elect Pat McCrory Governor" campaign committee, but has so far declined to comment publically on his joining the governor's race. |
