Description | U.S. Sen. Susan Collins said her unbroken voting streak extended during this session to 3,679 roll call votes.
The Maine Republican said she has been present for every roll-call vote in the Senate since she was sworn into office in January 1997.
Collins said she's long been inspired by former Maine Sen. Margaret Chase Smith, who never missed a vote in 13 years before surgery forced her to miss one.
