| Description | Matthew Seagrist, a Mechanicsburg Borough councilman, announced his candidacy for the 88th Legislative District Friday, becoming the second Republican to seek the nomination in the wake of longtime state lawmaker Jerry Nailor’s retirement.
Seagrist, a councilman for eight years in Mechanicsburg, joins tax lawyer Lowell Gates as a candidate seeking the position Nailor has held for 20 years.
Nailor announced in November that he will retire at the end of his term in 2008. |
