DescriptionNBC 10 has learned that Democrats were discussing several possible scenarios, as early as Wednesday, if a federal investigation targets Mayor John Street. The scenarios include the possibility of Street resigning as mayor before the Nov. 4 mayoral election.

NBC 10's Luann Cahn said the resignation scenario offers State Rep. Dwight Evans, councilman Michael Nutter and union leader John J. Dougherty as potential replacement candidates.
