Description | Political candidates often get more than they ask for when they knock on the doors of potential voters. Take Bill Baroni, a township Republican making his second bid for public office this fall.
Mary Ann Gliottone was more than happy to talk to Baroni when he stopped at her Paxson Avenue home in the Mercerville section of Hamilton last week, but not about his campaign for the state Assembly.
Instead, Gliottone gave the candidate an earful about her problems with Mercer County and Hamilton.
Officials, it seems, changed the traffic pattern in front of her home off Edinburg Road, which means she can't park on the side of the road now and has to try to fit three cars in a one-car driveway.
She's complained, she said, but nothing has changed. And if she forgets and parks on the road, her car will be towed.
