| Description | Dick King was a lot of things to a lot of people: former mayor, lawyer, political activist and civic leader.
No matter what hat he wore, though, friends and former colleagues remember King, who died Thursday morning from pancreatic cancer, as a man who was devoted to Independence.
The former Independence mayor and Kansas City attorney died of pancreatic cancer Thursday morning at age 62. |
