| Description | The state Republican Party will distribute 200,000 campaign fliers that depict Steve Beshear, the Democratic nominee for governor, as a high-roller leisurely dressed, leaning on a casino table with a filled wine glass in hand and a shiny gleam from one of his teeth.
"Don't gamble on Steve Beshear and his fool's gold casino plan," say the campaign materials touting Gov. Ernie Fletcher and other GOP candidates for constitutional offices in the Nov. 6 general election.
The slick, colorful brochures note at the bottom that the Beshear depiction is "not an actual photo." |
