Description | Sen. Bernie Sanders wants to hear Vermont officials' input on the state's economic and infrastructure needs.
Sanders today announced the schedule for a week-long series of "Vermont Listening Sessions" that he will hold next week at Lyndon, Rutland, Bennington, Springfield and St. Albans.
A member of the Senate Environmental and Public Works Committee, Sanders said the series of five public meetings will be an opportunity for community leaders to highlight transportation plans and other public works priorities.
Sanders will hear from local officials, regional planners, state legislators, state agency officials, labor and business leaders and advocates for senior citizens and low-income individuals. |
