Description | "Monroeville, PA – Dr. Mark G. Boles, a pediatrician from Monroeville, today announced that he will seek the Democratic nomination to represent Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District, which includes the counties of Allegheny, Washington, and Westmoreland.
In announcing his quest for election to the United States Congress, Dr. Boles stated: “The people of the 18th congressional district need a strong and independent voice working for them in the nation’s capital.”
“I’m a pediatrician, not a politician – and I know that the medicine that Rep. Tim Murphy and his Republican colleagues are offering is simply not working for the people of our community. We need to focus all of our energy on doing what’s right for our families. That means doing what it takes to get our economy moving again; protecting our nation from terrorism; standing up for the interests of hard-working men and women; and making high-quality, affordable health care a right, not a privilege,” said Dr. Boles." |
