Description | "Since leaving office in 1994, former Gov. Jim Florio has maintained a hectic schedule: partner in a law firm, candidate for U.S. Senate, Pinelands commissioner and founder of a company that buys delinquent tax liens.
Amid that frenzied pace, Florio has found time to for one other job: neighborhood activist.
Florio is among a group of residents in Metuchen's tranquil Woodwild Park neighborhood who are fighting a proposal that would raze two large houses on sprawling properties, subdivide the lots and replace them with five new houses."
