Description | "TRENTON -- The lawyer representing state Sen. Joseph Suliga, D-Union, says he has a "conceptual agreement" with Trump Marina Hotel Casino for the casino to drop its charges against Suliga.
Additionally, Edward Kologi, the lawyer, said yesterday he has asked Atlantic City authorities to contact the woman Suliga is accused of harassing and ask her to drop the charges. Suliga made sexually suggestive comments because he thought it was a woman he knew well and the comments were "lighthearted," Kologi said.
After the woman balked about the sudden approach and comments, security people asked the senator to leave the gaming floor. But Suliga, who authorities say was drunk, resisted. The guards then wrestled him to the floor, handcuffed him, and backed him out of the gaming room, Gannett learned from sources familiar with the investigation. It happened about 2:30 a.m. Saturday."
