Description | TALLAHASSEE -- For the first time since talks collapsed at the beginning of the month, Florida lawmakers met Monday to try again to cobble together a plan to cut property taxes across the state.
But the two-hour meeting showed few signs of progress, even though a special session devoted to property taxes is set to begin June 12.
