Description | Francis Bodine, a 71-year-old seven-term Assemblyman who was asked to retire by the Burlington County GOP organization earlier this year, is expected to announce tomorrow that he will switch parties.
There is some speculation that he will announce a bid for State Senate in the 8th district, where Republicans picked County Clerk Phil Haines to run for an open seat. Bodine had wanted to move up to the Senate when the GOP incumbent, Martha Bark, retired.
