Description | CONCORD, N.H. (AP) _ First, a sea change. Next, a seating change?
After decades in the minority, Democrats won 239 of the 400 House seats two weeks ago and are poised to take control of both the New Hampshire House and Senate. Rep. Terie Norelli, who is expected to be elected House speaker when lawmakers meet Dec. 6, said Monday she supports reforming a seat-assignment system that currently separates legislators in the chamber by party. |
