DescriptionWith an embarrassing gaffe, MoveOn.org, a liberal advocacy group, yesterday announced the opening of a new Columbus campaign office aimed at ousting Rep. Deborah Pryce, RUpper Arlington.

MoveOn.org, which has run ads against Pryce, says its telephone-bank volunteers in central Ohio will make thousands of calls to Democratic voters who are likely to support Pryce’s opponent, Democrat Mary Jo Kilroy.

MoveOn.org erred in its news release on the new anti-Pryce operation by touting a Democrat who isn’t running.

Mark Losey backed out of the 15 th Congressional District race months ago, deferring to Kilroy, a Franklin County commissioner.

The release even quotes Hilliard mother Christine Holtman as saying, "My neighbors and I want to do everything we can to kick out Deborah Pryce and elect Mark Losey."
