Description | The gloves came off Friday in the race for attorney general in Wisconsin.
Democratic challenger Kathleen Falk began running television ads attacking incumbent Peg Lautenschlager for her drunken driving arrest and alleged mismanagement of the department, leading to a growing backlog of DNA evidence to be examined.
"Our state's top cop convicted of drunken driving in a state car, fined for misuse of the car by the Ethics Board," an announcer intones in the ad, which is being run in several major Wisconsin cities but not in Madison. |
