Description | U.S. Sen. John McCain, who criticized President Bush six years ago for speaking at Bob Jones University, now says he would consider doing so himself.
Craig Goldman, a spokesman for McCain's political action committee, said McCain would consider speaking at the fundamentalist Christian school if he decides later this year to run for president.
"It would just be a matter of whether the invitation was extended, and we would take it from there," he said. "We consider all invitations. I imagine this all is months down the road if he decides to run. But as far as right now, we consider every invitation that comes in the door."
