Democrat Ken Lucas’ internal polling shows he has widened his earlier lead over Republican U.S. Rep. Geoff Davis in Northern Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District race.
Lucas has a 14-point lead over Davis, according to Lucas’ pollster Alan Secrest.
That’s a four point increase from a poll Secrest conducted in February.
The latest poll of 504 likely voters was conducted July 20-23 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percent, according to a memo Secrest wrote on the poll.
“Freshman incumbent Geoff Davis continues to languish in his faltering bid for re-election,” Secrest said in the memo, which the Lucas campaign released Monday morning. |
