Description | The political consulting firm that formerly represented Mike Harris is suing the Republican candidate for Arizona governor for more than $120,000.
The company, Columbus, Ohio-based American Strategies, alleges that Harris breached his contract and was behind on his payments to the tune of $45,784 when the contract was terminated at the end of May. The company also is asking a federal court to award payment for the remainder of the contract, which was to run through November and included bonuses in case he was victorious in either the primary or general election.
"He paid a little bit here and there," said attorney Kendra Carpenter, who's representing American Strategies. "He wasn't really holding up his end of the bargain on fund-raising, either." |
