Description | A political campaigner from London, tipped for a glittering career, was stabbed to death in the United States on Sunday as he walked home.
Alan Senitt, 27, was set upon as he was walking in the Georgetown area of Washington DC at about 0200 local time.
The former chairman of the Union of Jewish Students (UJS) had only recently moved to the US to work on politician Mark Warner's presidential campaign.
In the local elections in May, Mr Senitt stood as a Labour candidate in Edgware, north London. |
