Description | MANCHESTER, N.H. Former Virginia governor and potential presidential hopeful Mark Warner was in New Hampshire again today, lashing out at the Bush administration for missing opportunities to bring the nation together in difficult times.
Speaking to the annual state meeting of New Hampshire Democrats, Warner says his biggest problem with the Bush administration is that the president has never asked the country to put politics aside and unite when faced with national catastrophies.
Warner says the terrorist attacks on Nine-Eleven, Hurricane Katrina and the war in Iraq would all have been good opportunities to promote unity -- but Bush failed. |
