Description | LIVE OAK -- Former Florida Lt. Gov. Tom Adams died and his son was seriously injured in a car crash Monday.
Adams, 89, was driving on Interstate 10 in Suwannee County with his 19-year-old son when he lost control of the vehicle, drove into the median, hit a metal sign and flipped his car at 2:50 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said.
