Description | Prime Minister Stephen Harper toured the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza on Thursday with U.S. President George W. Bush and Mexican President Vicente Fox as the three leaders kicked off a summit meeting in Mexico.
Harper went to his first meeting with Bush carrying an agenda topped by the long-standing softwood lumber dispute. Harper earlier said he didn't expect to solve the problem immediately but would raise it.
Bush remarked on Thursday that he was "always optimistic" about resolving the trade dispute. |
