Description | David DeWitt, a Darlington farmer and businessman, officially filed to run for S.C. House Seat 62 on Tuesday.
DeWitt is running for the seat that is opening with the retirement of Rep. Jesse Hines, D-Lamar.
DeWitt said he decided to seek the seat because he thinks that “the community needs a strong voice that understands the people and their needs.”
He also said he thinks his longtime community roots and leadership skills make him that voice. |
