Description | A Hartsville man will challenge state Rep. Denny Neilson for the District 56 S.C. House seat in the June Democratic primary.
Marion Crenshaw, a retired Florence-Darlington Technical College maintenance department employee, is making his first run for public office. He said it is something he has wanted to do for some time. “I’ve been wanting to run, but I wanted to wait until I retired,” Crenshaw said. “I figured it was probably a full-time job.”
Crenshaw, 67, said he has no real disagreements with Neilson. “I don’t have anything against her, I just think we can probably get more done,” he said. |
