Description | With Interior Secretary Gale Norton resigning, some groups in Washington, D-C say an informal list of possible replacements has already emerged, including Governor Dirk Kempthorne.
Norton quit Friday after five years as head of the agency overseeing the federal Endangered Species Act.
In addition to Kempthorne, others mentioned by lobbyists as possible replacements include former Montana Governor Marc Racicot and current Colorado Governor Bill Owens. |
