Description | The Weedman is packing it in.
Marijuana activist Ed Forchion - who has run for the U.S. House, the Legislature, the Burlington County freeholder board and, most recently, the governorship - is hightailing it to Hollywood.
"I've had a run of bad luck," said the chronically underemployed trucker from Browns Mills, who tried to change his name legally to NJWeedman.com a couple of years back.
Last week, Forchion declared himself indigent. He hit a deer with his truck in December, causing $6,000 in damage, and the transmission blew in January. The last straw, he said, was being denied the right to visit his daughter.
"My ex-wife called me a bad influence," he said. "The judge told me to get counseling." |
