DescriptionIt’s Hinda Miller, by a whisker.

Burlington Democrats crammed into the high school auditorium Thursday night to choose a mayoral candidate, picking Miller over city councilor Andy Montroll by a narrow margin.

More than a thousand voters cast ballots in the caucus to determine which candidate will represent the city's Democrats in the general election in March. Miller, 55, a businesswoman and state senator, will face Republican nominee Kevin Curley and a potential candidate from the Progressive party for the city's top post.
