| Description | Senator Charles Schumer is calling on the Federal Trade Commission to enforce a number of regulations on product rebates.
Rebates often sound like a good deal, but many people drawn to a purchase for the rebate, fail to collect on the rebate.
Now, in a letter to the FTC, Schumer suggests a number of regulations, including giving consumers at least 30 days to send in rebate redemption forms and forcing companies to pay within 60 days. |
