DescriptionLAKEWOOD, OH – Former State Representative Bryan E. Flannery has announced that he is a candidate to be Governor of Ohio for the November 2006 election. He also announced that his running mate and Lieutenant Governor candidate will be Frank M. Stams of Akron.

Flannery delivered his announcement at his high school alma mater, St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio. He laid out his platform in his speech and explained that he had real solutions for the problems that currently exist in Ohio.

Flannery proclaimed that he will make Ohio The Education State by making the system for funding our schools constitutional again by defining a good education, determining its costs, eliminating the need for school levies and cutting property taxes statewide. Flannery spoke of his Educate Ohio plan to reform education financing in the state and declared it to be the best solution out there. “My opponents in this race have been in office for years and have not come up with a single detailed solution,” he said.
