Description | President Bush's approval rating among Tennesseans has dropped to 40 percent, and for the first time, more Tennesseans than not say sending U.S. troops to Iraq was a mistake, a new statewide poll indicates.
Overall, the Middle Tennessee State University Poll's fall edition released Monday shows Tennesseans are dissatisfied with the political status quo. Sixty-four percent said they are not happy with the course of the country and 61 percent say they want the next president to offer policies and programs different from Bush's. |
