Description | It is a common campaign practice for a challenger to mine an incumbent's voting record to draw out key differences on policy issues.
Republican Geoff Davis, a manufacturing consultant, is doing just that in his bid to unseat two-term Democratic Rep. Ken Lucas in Kentucky's 4th District.
Davis is trying to find a critical mass of House votes to back his contention that Lucas is not conservative enough for the 4th, a district based in northern Kentucky that usually leans strongly Republican.
But Davis has a problem: Lucas' record is not giving him much ammunition. |
