Description | Madison: Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk was flanked by a throng of supporters as she announced her decision to run for Attorney General Monday.
She'll need every one of those supporters as she challenges incumbent Peg Lautenschlager in the Democratic primary.
"I'm running because I think we can do better. I was an Assistant Attorney General for 14 years, I know the department," says Falk.
Falk has been encouraged to run by many Democrats worried that Lautenschlager can't win re–election next fall. "We've looked at the polls and we've looked at everything else and I don't think that Peg is electable in the fall," says Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Madison). |
