DescriptionWASHINGTON -- Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., leads Rep. Jim Gibbons, R-Nev., by 11 percentage points in a new poll, but analysts say the numbers suggest Reid might be vulnerable in his bid for a fourth term next year because fewer than 50 percent of Nevadans said they would vote for him.

Reid led Gibbons 48 percent to 37 percent in the poll conducted for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and reviewjournal.com.

A telephone survey of 625 registered Nevada voters was conducted Tuesday and Wednesday by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. of Washington, D.C. The poll had a margin for error of 4 percentage points.
