He said that when he returned from Iraq, he was seriously considering a Senate run, but after several weeks of consideration, he has decided to focus more on attorney general.

Brown joins a number of other Democrats interested in that race, including Montgomery County State’s Attorney Douglas F. Gansler, Montgomery County Council President Thomas E. Perez and Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Glenn F. Ivey.
