Description | The sponsorship scandal appears to have dropped off the radar for most Canadians, according to a recent poll that suggests health care is again the top priority.
The poll, conducted by The Strategic Counsel for CTV and The Globe and Mail, found that the percentage of Canadians concerned about the scandal has dropped dramatically since explosive testimony became public in spring.
When asked what key issue is facing this country, only two per cent of respondents picked the sponsorship scandal. In May, 23 per cent rated the scandal as a top priority.
Anger against the Liberals over the sponsorship scandal appeared to be greatest in Quebec. However, the Liberals may now be on the rebound. |
