| Description | HONOLULU (AP) _ Governor Lingle now has more than two (M) million dollars in cash available for her 2006 re-election campaign.
That's according to her latest campaign spending report filed in late July.
No Democrat has yet formally entered the gubernatorial race. Party leaders say a candidate would need to start raising funds soon to be competitive.
The Republican governor spent a record five-point-four (M) million during her successful campaign in 2002. |
