| Description | DNC Chairman Howard Dean’s most trusted gubernatorial advisor and campaign manager (for his toughest re-election bids) is now the head of Peter Shumlin’s campaign for the US House.
Kate O’Connor, the daughter of former Speaker of the House Timothy O’Connor (D-Brattleboro) and Community Activist Martha O’Connor will be leading the effort to win the Democratic nomination next fall on behalf of the Democratic Shumlin.
The fact that Shumlin hired a campaign manager and most of all, hired O’Connor signifies that Shumlin is in the race to stay and that Welch and the party establishment cannot push him out.
