FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- As more state government cabinets have been subpoenaed to testify, it appears the special grand jury investigation of the Fletcher administration is expanding.
Louisville attorney Sheryl Snyder -- who represents Governor Ernie Fletcher's office -- says subpoenas to the personnel officers and others were served Thursday and yesterday to appear at grand jury proceedings next week.
Scott Crawford-Sutherland -- who is the lead prosecutor in the case -- had declined to comment on the matter. And so did a spokeswoman for Fletcher.
But during a hearing in Franklin County Circuit Court on the overall production of documents and computer records previously sought, Snyder revealed the possible new horizons of the investigation. |
