| Description | Zephyre Teachout, a former member of Howard Dean's Presidential campaign is weighing a bid for the Democratic nomination for Congress.
A former member of the Dean Presidential campaign is weighing a bid for the US House as a Democrat. She established a cult-like following for her work in the Internet-section of the Dean campaign and her name was well known among Deaniacs.
However, Teachout has received little to no support from the Democratic Party. So far, Peter Welch and Peter Shumlin are both running for Congress. Both have significant support within the state party infrastructure. According to our Democratic sources -- Teachout has little support from the state party because they believe that there is no reason to have a third candidate who will further divide the party. |
