Description | Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon believes he has a “significant role” to play in shaping the state’s Democratic Party, but not as a candidate in 2006.
Mr. Nixon told News-Press editors Wednesday he won’t be on a ballot next year. His name had surfaced as a possible opponent to Republican U.S. Sen. Jim Talent. |
