Still not running, Bayh bashes Bush

| Description | Sen. Evan Bayh walked past a row of "Bayh '08!" campaign signs as he headed into an Indiana Democratic Party fundraiser Saturday night.
Bayh doesn't have to run for his U.S. Senate seat again until 2010. But the junior senator from Indiana could be on the ballot in 2008 if he decides to run for president.
Such a run was on the minds of many of the roughly 1,100 Democrats who headed to the Marriott Downtown for the party's Jefferson Jackson Day Dinner, where Bayh was the keynote speaker.
But the senator has a message for his curious public: Wait. |
