VINELAND -- A 42-year-old Cape May County woman was arrested and charged Thursday with trying to obtain a prescription fraudulently for Sen. Nicholas Asselta.
Silvana Landau, an office manager at a Somers Point medical office, was charged with forgery and purposely altering records related to medical care.
When contacted about the incident Friday, Asselta said he accepted his friend's offer to call in a prescription for medicine he needed to treat a poison ivy reaction."
