Description | OTTAWA - The fate of Paul Martin's Liberal government now rests on the outcome of a vote to amend the budget after the passage of the first of two non-confidence votes Thursday afternoon.
There was little drama over the result of the Liberal's budget bill, Bill C-43, as Conservative Leader Stephen Harper had already said his party would vote in favour. |
