| Description | Calling for a change in Washington, state Auditor John Morrison on Monday became the first Democrat to jump into the 2006 U.S. Senate race against Republican incumbent Conrad Burns.
"I think we're on the wrong track in Washington on issues that are important to Montana like Social Security, health care, prescription drugs, Amtrak, farm programs and trade," Morrison, a Helena attorney, said in a telephone interview. "Montanans are getting hurt in a lot of these areas, and I don't like it."
